The company J.Costa Silva& Cª LDA., was established
in 1982 and it's based
in Santo Amaro - Candoso S. Tiago, Guimarães, city
which is humanity's cultural patrimony. The textile tradition
and originality developed through many years of experience,
are today supported by the University of Minho, that offers
textile engineering courses, forming new technician boards
in partnership with the local firms, also supporting the
innovation and modern technologies, in order to allow to
the competitiveness in demanding markets like the European
community to whom we export.
Our products are essentially designed for the kitchen, in
the specialty of towels (weaved and PVC), napkins, cloths,
curtains, aprons (weaved and PVC), bread hampers, gloves,
handles, individual, etc. Guimarães currently possesses
a highway net, which makes possible the fast linking to
the great urban centers like Oporto, Coimbra and Lisbon
as well as Spain.
